Job summary

Yuno is seeking a Staff Engineer to be a senior technical leader across our engineering organization, architecting robust, scalable payment systems for global brands. This hands-on role combines design, coding, and mentoring, shaping the platform's direction and technical standards.

You'll work with product and design to deliver complex, cross-team projects, raise the bar on performance and reliability, and help define our AI-native development practices across the org.

Qualifications

• Extensive software engineering experience, with backend focus in Go and/or Kotlin.
• Proven track record designing robust, scalable systems with solid architecture knowledge.
• Experience solving complex technical problems and delivering innovative solutions.
• Strong AWS and cloud-native experience (RDS, ECS/EKS, S3).
• Excellent automated testing practices across unit/integration/end-to-end in CI/CD.
• Proven technical leadership: mentoring engineers and guiding strategy.
• English advanced, written and spoken.
