Job summary

Gigs is building an operating system for mobile services, enabling platforms to embed connectivity with AI-enabled tooling. We’re growing our Foundation team and seeking a senior engineer who has built internal platforms and now focuses on scalable AI-enabled infrastructure.

You will define patterns, mentor engineers, and drive adoption of platform standards while partnering with leadership to extend AI capabilities across the company. Join us in a fast, pragmatic environment.

Qualifications

• Built internal platforms or developer tooling adopted by other teams.
• Deep experience with agentic AI development and context engineering.
• Strong infrastructure fundamentals: GCP, IaC, CI/CD.
• Experience driving adoption across teams without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Ship the platform yourself: golden paths, CI/CD, developer environments, observability.
• Move AI enablement from experiments to infrastructure: agent-ready codebases, docs, telemetry, guardrails.
• Set the strategy and standards for engineering adoption of AI, with leadership.
• Mentor engineers on platform and AI-enabled ways of working, spreading best practices.
• Extend platform patterns to AI enablement across the company over time.
