Job summary

Practical School Westfriesland in Hoorn seeks an Office worker facility/building management (0.8 FTE) to maintain and improve the school environment. You will be responsible for daily management of the building and grounds, with small maintenance tasks and safety oversight as part of a dedicated educational setting.

The role supports students in internships and helps create a welcoming space for staff and visitors, contributing to a safe and well-organized learning environment.

Qualifications

• MBO qualification at level 4 in technology, facilities management or building management.
• Knowledge of safety, building management and applicable laws and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and in teams while coordinating with external parties.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily management, maintenance and appearance of the school building and grounds.
• Perform small maintenance and repair work and ensure a safe, well-maintained environment.
• Monitor during free-time periods to contribute to a positive pedagogical climate.
• Assist students in internal internship activities and support practical assignments.

Due to the retirement of the current employee, we are looking for a mOffice worker facility/building management forworking time factor 0.8. Practical School Westfriesland Hoorn is a small and dedicated school where every student is seen and given the opportunity to develop their talents. We prepare young people for life as independently as possible, further education and sustainable participation in the labor market. We do this in a safe and stimulating learning environment where practical learning is central. Over 50 employees are dedicated daily to our students and to each other. A well-maintained, safe, and functional school environment is of great importance.

• A BHV certificate or the willingness to achieve this, preferably experience with RI&E and safety procedures?
• Patience and affinity with young people in practical education?

Employment conditions

We offer
