Vinted Marketplace in Amsterdam is seeking a Staff / Senior Staff Security Engineer to shape IT security for the entire workforce. You will own the security of both hardware and software estates, embedding security as a product for IT engineering teams and partnering with security peers across Vinted.

Join a federated security model, drive threat modeling, implement secure baselines, and lead automation efforts.

Competenze

• Hands-on experience securing a corporate IT estate at scale.
• Engineering mindset: automate, script, and build security as a product for IT teams.
• Ability to build security practice from scratch inside IT/infra org.
• Comfort on both sides of IT/OT boundary: secured networks and devices in warehouses and offices.
• Ability to translate technical risk into business impact for senior audiences.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Advantage: depth in Okta, JAMF, Google Workspace or equivalents.

Mansioni

• Own the IT security roadmap end to end across hardware, software and networks.
• Be a pragmatic evangelist for security, enabling IT engineers to make risk-based decisions.
• Make devices and identity trustworthy by default with baseline configurations and EDR.
• Secure workforce identity, MFA, and privileged access controls across the stack.
• Own security of SaaS and business applications, including data flows and integrations.
• Secure networks and hardware in physical sites, warehouses, and verification centres.
• Engineer security into IT_builds through automation and tooling.
• Develop and maintain security governance, risk registers, and evidence-based controls.
