Job summary

You will partner with production and operations teams to ensure accurate inventory valuation, support audits, and analyze variances between actual and budgeted expenses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
• Experience with inventory costing and analysis

Responsibilities

• Reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank statements and various balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare and post journal entries for month-end close, including accruals and reclassifications.
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Analyze variances between actual and budgeted expenses, identifying key drivers.
• Support external audits by providing requested documentation and explanations.
• Maintain fixed asset records, including depreciation schedules and additions/disposals.
• Collaborate with production and operations teams to ensure accurate inventory valuation.

Salary Range: $54,000 - $84,000 depending on experience
