- Strong understanding of brand and UI design, with the ability to balance expressive creative direction with functional product communication.
- Excellent storytelling and narrative instincts, including the ability to structure motion through setup, tension, resolution, pacing, and intentional moments of emphasis.
- Strong systems-thinking mindset and experience creating reusable motion guidelines, component libraries, templates, or other tools that enable teams to work more efficiently and consistently.
- Strong understanding of sound and rhythm, with the ability to intentionally integrate audio and motion to strengthen the overall creative experience.
- Comfortable working directly from product UI and collaborating with product designers and other technical or creative stakeholders.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the confidence to advocate for creative decisions, explain the reasoning behind them, and proactively influence projects.
- Experience experimenting with AI-powered creative and video tools, with genuine curiosity about how emerging technology can improve creative workflows and production.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity, managing changing priorities, and taking initiative without requiring fully defined briefs or processes.
- Highly collaborative and adaptable, with the ability to work effectively across internal teams and external creative partners.
- Education is not required; practical experience, creative ability, and demonstrated expertise through your portfolio are valued.
