Job summary

Emploive is seeking a seasoned Motion Designer to craft high-quality motion work for product explainers, brand content, and social videos. You will transform UI frames into compelling product demonstrations, build reusable motion systems, and drive a distinctive motion language across digital touchpoints.

You will collaborate with brand design, product marketing, and external agencies, advocating for creative decisions and sharing workflows.

Qualifications

• Significant professional experience in motion design across brand, product, digital, marketing, or tech-focused environments.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong motion craft and storytelling.
• Ability to transform briefs, UI frames, and concepts into compelling visual stories.
• Understanding of motion principles, timing, rhythm, transitions, and visual personality.
• Ability to balance expressive direction with functional product communication.
• Strong storytelling, setup–tension–resolution pacing, and narrative instincts.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce high-quality motion work for product explainers, website animations, paid social content, and brand touchpoints.
• Transform UI frames and product concepts into polished demonstrations that clearly communicate functionality and UX.
• Create storyboards independently to speed concept-to-production flow.
• Define motion language through patterns, timing principles, transitions, and visual behaviors for consistency.
• Build reusable motion systems, including guidelines, libraries, and templates.
• Explore tools like Jitter, Figma Motion, and AI-powered video tech to improve workflows.
• Produce short-form video variations for paid social testing across formats and angles.
• Develop scalable product video formats and templates for future launches.
• Collaborate with brand design, product marketing, web, social, and external agencies.
• Advise stakeholders on motion decisions, explaining strategic reasoning behind choices.
• Foster experimentation and knowledge sharing by testing new creative tech.
