Hotelprofessionals - Utrecht City Apartments zoekt een Senior Medewerker housekeeping om 28-30 uur per week te werken in Utrecht. Je zorgt voor schone, volledig uitgeruste appartementen en verzorgt een gastvrije, zorgvuldige service op meerdere locaties.

Je werkt zelfstandig, rapporteert aan de Hospitality Supervisor en draagt bij aan een hoge inrichting en gastbeleving. Aantrekken van collega’s en een plezierige teamcultuur worden gestimuleerd.

Responsibilities

• Bedden opmaken en beddengoed vervangen.
• Schoonmaken, stofzuigen en dweilen van appartementen en badkamers.
• Keukens, inventaris en gastbenodigdheden controleren en aanvullen of melden.
• De status van appartementen bijwerken in het systeem.
• Handdoeken en gastbenodigdheden aanvullen.
• Entree, gangen en algemene ruimtes reinigen.
• Eindcontrole voordat een appartement in gebruik wordt genomen.
• Ondersteunen bij planning, toewijzing van werk en voortgang.
• Materialen, sleutels en voorraden klaarleggen voor volgende dienst.

Our Housekeeping team plays an important role in ensuring that every apartment is in perfect condition before our guests arrive. Are you ready for a new step in your career? As a Sr. Housekeeping Employee, you will make sure that the apartments provide an inspiring, fresh and welcoming home away from home for the guests of Utrecht City Apartments.

In our view, an excellent guest experience starts with an apartment that is spotless, fully equipped and in good technical condition. As a Senior Housekeeping Employee at Utrecht City Apartments, you ensure that the apartments and their associated communal areas across our various locations are maintained to the highest standard every day.

You work independently across multiple locations, report any issues or exceptions to the Hospitality Supervisor in a timely manner and, in their absence, support the daily allocation of work and quality monitoring. Together, you ensure consistent housekeeping standards, well-prepared apartments and pleasant, effective teamwork.

What are your tasks?

• Making beds and changing bed linen.
• Cleaning, vacuuming and mopping apartments and disinfecting bathrooms and toilets within agreed timeframes.
• Checking kitchens, inventory, appliances and guest supplies, and replenishing or reporting missing items.
• Updating the apartment status in the system and promptly sharing any exceptions with the Front Office or handling them independently.
• Replenishing towels, toiletries, toilet paper, kitchen items and other guest supplies.
• Cleaning entrances, corridors, stairwells, storage areas and other communal spaces where present.
• Carrying out final inspections before occupancy, independently or with the Hospitality Supervisor, and resolving or reporting deviations.
• Supporting daily planning, work allocation and progress monitoring during the Hospitality Supervisor’s absence.
• Ensuring materials, keys and stocks are ready for the next working day and location.

Acting as a role model and first operational point of contact for colleagues, without formal line-management responsibility.

Knowledge and skills

• Vocational level 2 (MBO) work and thinking level.
• Knowledge of company-specific housekeeping, safety, key and quality procedures.
• Product knowledge and safe use of cleaning agents.
• Ability to work with a digital system for apartment statuses and issue reporting.
• Ability to work independently and flexibly across multiple apartment locations.
• Proficient in Dutch and/or English.

• A salary based on salary scale 3 of the Dutch Hospitality Collective Labour Agreement (Horeca CAO), depending on your experience;
• A contract for 28-30 hour per week;
