Park Plaza Utrecht, gevestigd in het centrum op loopafstand van Utrecht Centraal, zoekt een Steward/Afwasser. Je werkt nauw samen met het keukenteam en zorgt voor een hoge hygiëne en orde in de keuken en back-of-house zones.

Qualifications
- Positieve houding en leergierigheid.
- Zeer hoog niveau van hygiëne en netheid nastreven.
- In een drukke keukenomgeving efficiënt kunnen werken.
- Beschikbaarheid in verschillende shifts, inclusief weekenden en feestdagen.
- Goede Engelse communicatie, woord en schrift.
Responsibilities
- Schoonmaken en onderhouden van servies, glaswerk, bestek en keukengerei.
- Afwassen en dieptereiniging van keukenapparatuur en back-of-house-ruimtes.
- Zorgen voor hygiëne volgens HACCP, Health & Safety en bedrijfsnormen.
- Ondersteunen van keuken- en F&B-teams door een schone, georganiseerde en veilige omgeving te bewaren.
- Melden van onderhoudsproblemen en veiligheidsaangelegenheden volgens procedures.
- Effectieve communicatie met collega's en bijdragen aan een positief teamklimaat.

Feel the Authentic Park Plaza Utrecht offers a contemporary stay in the heart of the city, within walking distance of Utrecht Central Station and Hoog Catharijne shopping centre. Guests stay in one of our 120 spacious rooms, inspired by the iconic De Stijl art movement. The hotel is a popular destination for both business and leisure travellers. As a Steward/Afwasser, you will be responsible for maintaining exceptional cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout our kitchens and back-of-house areas. Working closely with the kitchen team, you will play a key role in supporting efficient operations and creating a safe, organised, and welcoming environment for both guests and colleagues.
- Clean and maintain china, glassware, silverware, kitchen utensils, and chefs' equipment to the highest standards
- Carry out dishwashing and deep-cleaning duties for kitchen machinery, kitchen areas, storage facilities, and back-of-house colleague areas
- Ensure all cleaning activities are completed in accordance with hygiene, HACCP, Health & Safety, and company standards
- Support the kitchen and Food & Beverage teams by maintaining clean, organised, and safe working environments
- Report maintenance issues, incidents, accidents, and safety concerns while following company procedures and guidelines
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a positive and efficient team environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible availability to work different shifts, including weekends and public holidays when required
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Eligible to work in the Netherlands
- Previous experience in a Steward, Kitchen Porter, Cleaning, or Hospitality Support role
- Basic knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and cleaning procedures
- Experience working in a hotel, restaurant, or catering environment
- Interest in developing a career in hospitality or becoming a Chef in the future
