• PhD and demonstrated research record in slavery history or related fields.
• Strong teaching experience in university settings, in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Organise and teach courses within global arts, culture and politics and related History/Heritage programmes.
• Conduct and initiate research in heritage studies and the Dutch history of slavery.
• Supervise BA, MA and PhD candidates; contribute to outreach and societal impact.
• Engage with societal groups and participate in knowledge exchange and funding applications.
