Qualifications

• PhD in international, European or transnational criminal law or related field.
• Proven ability as an innovative researcher with potential to secure external funding.
• Evidence of teaching skills with positive evaluations.
• Experience in developing and delivering activating university education.
• Strong organizational skills and team-orientated.
• Willingness to obtain Basic Teaching Qualification (BKO).
• Fluent in English; Dutch proficiency is an asset.
• Willingness to learn Dutch if not proficient.

Responsibilities

• Teach and develop education in international and transnational criminal law; conduct research; fulfil administrative tasks.
• Coordinate courses in the LLM program and deliver lectures and seminars.
• Supervise LLM theses and possibly teach Dutch criminal law courses in the future.
• Publish high-quality research and mentor PhD candidates.
• Contribute to the section and faculty administration as needed.
