Job summary

S&T in Delft is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead and coordinate the development of our space product portfolio within Defence & Security. You will align hardware, software, and AI projects into a single roadmap, delivering scalable on-board processing solutions for future space missions.

You will drive the program from concept to deployment, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing priorities and timelines, and ensuring rapid transition from development to operational space

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a technical or business field, or equivalent experience in managing complex technical projects.
• Experience managing complex technical programs or multidisciplinary product development projects in a high-tech environment.
• Experience leading product development from concept through qualification and deployment.
• Affinity with the Defence sector and the ability to obtain Dutch, NATO, or EU security clearances (required).
• Fluency in English (written and spoken); Dutch is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the development of S&T's on-board processing product platform, ensuring all projects contribute to the overall product roadmap and strategic objectives.
• Facilitate the overall program together with the technical leads, balancing scope, priorities, resources, budgets, schedules, and risks across multiple hardware, software, and AI workstreams.
• Support multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the complete product lifecycle, from concept and architecture through development, integration, validation, and deployment, ensuring effective collaboration and timely decision-making.
• Work closely with customers, internal stakeholders, and external partners to translate mission and user needs into clear program objectives and technical priorities.
• Facilitate collaboration between electronics, software, AI, systems engineering, and project teams to deliver integrated, high-performance on-board processing solutions.
• Monitor program progress, proactively identify and mitigate risks, manage dependencies, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality results.
• Support the transition from technology development to operational deployment, helping bring next-generation on-board processing capabilities into space as quickly as possible.
