Job summary

SSC Space Netherlands is seeking a dedicated professional to design and verify complex digital microelectronics for ESA projects. You will work on DSP, FPGA/ASIC design, and IP core library management within an international, multidisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes solving challenging electronics problems, integration of third-party IP, and ensuring robust verification and validation across hardware and software interfaces.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electronics Engineering or Physics, specialising in DSP and microelectronics.
• 5+ years in DSP development, verification/test benches, FPGA/ASIC design and testing, or CAD tools.
• Expertise with Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor and HDLs (VHDL/Verilog/SystemC).
• Experience integrating third-party IP cores.
• Good English and ability to work in an international, multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide ASIC/FPGA technical expertise to ESA projects and analyze requirements and budgets.
• Design, analyze and verify digital systems for control and data processing.
• Manage the ESA SystemC/VHDL IP core library and coordinate licensing/contract matters.
• Support ASIC/FPGA R&D and project development with sound design and testing practices.
• Perform independent verification and validation through code inspection and hardware testing.
