Job summary

HE Space is seeking an experienced technical professional for European ESA space programmes, based in Noordwijk, Netherlands. You will provide technical support across phases from 0 to E, review industry proposals, and contribute to design reviews and safety assessments.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in engineering, have 4+ years in space mechanisms, and are fluent in English. ESA project experience is a strong advantage in this dynamic, international team.

Qualifications

• Master’s in engineering or a relevant discipline.
• 4 years of experience in space mechanisms.
• Experience with ESA projects is a big advantage.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to ESA space programmes from phase 0 to phase E, including design reviews and technical assessment.
• Review industry proposals during the ITT process as an external technical expert.
• Support CDF studies with engineering assessment, analysis, and reporting
• Identify critical development problems and assist in resolution
• Assist in design follow-up, cross- analyses, and participate in reviews
• Perform analyses to support materials, equipment, and subsystems development
• Participate as a technical expert in NCR investigations and NRBs
• Participate in progress meetings, technical meetings, and working groups
• Participate in safety panel meetings and ISS payload safety reviews
