Job summary

Rabobank is seeking a Solution Architect Data Marketplace to shape the architecture of our Data Marketplace and Data Catalog. You translate business needs into secure, scalable solutions and create a clear architectural roadmap.

You will guide delivery teams, align product, engineering, governance and business stakeholders, and assess new technology through research and proofs of concept to drive value across the organization.

Qualifications

• Proven solution architecture experience in complex enterprise environments.
• Experience designing end-to-end solutions and roadmaps from business needs.
• Experience with data catalogues or data marketplaces (Collibra preferred).
• Strong stakeholder management across multiple domains.
• Clear written and verbal communication of complex decisions.
• Strategic yet pragmatic decision-making with ambiguity management.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop the architectural vision and roadmap for Data Marketplace and Data Catalog capabilities.
• Evaluate emerging technology using transparent criteria, structured research and proofs of concept.
• Coach engineers and multidisciplinary teams in implementing architectural decisions and increasing their architectural capability.
• Balance long-term architectural direction with short-term delivery and ensure security, privacy, compliance throughout the solution lifecycle.

Job description

• Salary: Gross monthly salary between EUR 5,030 and EUR 7,183 (scale 09)for a 36-hour work week.
• Extras: a thirteenth month, 8% holiday allowance, and a 10% Employee Benefit Budget.

Shape the architecture of Rabobank’s Data Marketplace and Data Catalog as a Solution Architect Data Marketplace. You translate business needs into secure, scalable solutions and a clear architectural roadmap.

In practice, you guide delivery teams, align product, engineering, governance and business stakeholders, and assess new technology through structured research and proofs of concept.

• Proven Solution Architect experience, or equivalent architectural responsibility, in a complex enterprise environment.
• Experience designing end-to-end solutions, target architectures and architectural roadmaps from business and product requirements.
• Experience with software platforms for data catalogues or data marketplaces, preferably Collibra.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across business, architecture, governance and engineering domains.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for explaining complex technical decisions to different audiences.
• Strategic and pragmatic decision-making skills, with the ability to challenge assumptions and manage ambiguity.
