Job summary

Albert Cliff Limited in the Amsterdam area is seeking an Associate - Growth Equity focused on Software Investments. This role partners with senior dealmakers to originate, execute, and manage growth equity investments across Europe, with emphasis on software, fintech, and data platforms.

You will lead diligence workstreams, build investment theses, draft memoranda, and support portfolio value creation through growth initiatives and potential bolt-on M&A.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in investment banking, private equity, or growth equity.
• Experience with software/tech investments preferred.
• Proficient in financial modelling and valuation.
• Ability to manage end-to-end transaction processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Deal Execution & Origination: Pipeline development, screening, due diligence, structuring, negotiation and closing.
• Financial Analysis & Valuation: Build and interrogate models, SaaS KPIs, scenario analyses.
• Due Diligence Leadership: Coordinate commercial, financial, legal, and technical diligence.
• Investment Materials & IC Process: Draft memoranda and present to committees.
• Portfolio Engagement: Monitor KPIs and support growth initiatives in portfolio companies.
• Market Intelligence & Network Development: Map software sub-sectors and build co-investor networks.
