Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a software engineer to own internal data products, dashboards, and data pipelines. You will design, build, and maintain internal web apps and lightweight tools that give business teams faster access to data.

You will partner with project developers, deployment and construction managers, regional managers, operations teams, and central leadership, turning ambiguous asks into useful, user-facing solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in a quantitative, technical, or analytical field.
• Proven ownership of a product or project end to end.
• Fast learner with curiosity about the business problem.
• Strong programming fundamentals and Python proficiency.
• Comfort with SQL and large datasets; data modeling experience helpful.
• Experience building web-based tools and internal data pipelines.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own internal data products end to end from discovery to iteration.
• Design, build, and maintain internal dashboards and lightweight tools.
• Develop data pipelines and warehouse models powering analytics.
• Set priorities and tradeoffs, balancing stakeholder needs and effort.
• Collaborate with non-technical stakeholders to translate requests into working products.
• Serve as technical contact for internal partners and vendors.
