Job summary

B Lab in Amsterdam is hiring a Data Analyst to build dashboards, deliver reports, and run cross-topic analyses across the organization. You will support the Data & AI team under the Director of Data Analytics & AI, contributing to data usability and storytelling for staff globally.

The role emphasizes creating reusable data assets, collaborating with data engineers, and growing toward a more independent analytics partner within a remote-first environment based in the Netherlands or the UK.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in Mathematics, CS, Information Management, Statistics or comparable
• Minimum 1–2 years of professional data analytics experience
• Strong analytics including data collection, organisation, analysis and storytelling
• Proficiency with SQL and BI tools; experience with PostgreSQL or AWS Athena
• Comfortable collaborating with stakeholders across departments and guiding data use

Responsibilities

• Handle data requests and translate needs into analyses, reports or dashboards
• Build, upgrade, and maintain dashboards across topics (growth, comms, standards)
• Prepare recurring and ad-hoc reports, surface trends, provide actionable insights
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure dashboard accuracy as sources evolve
• Develop reusable, well-documented data assets and enable self-serve analytics
