Job summary

Fidamy, an Amsterdam-based insurtech, is seeking an Insurance Operations Specialist to own the daily insurance operations, including claims handling, policy servicing, and partner coordination. You'll report to the Head of Insurance and help ensure timely, compliant delivery of embedded insurance products.

You will lead Dutch, German and English customer support, collaborate with carriers, brokers and internal teams, and drive improvements across operations, underwriting, and product to deliver

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in the insurance sector, ideally with a Dutch broker, insurer, or MGA.
• Practical experience with claims, customer support, and risk carrier management.
• Passion for digital innovation and a strong drive to reimagine insurance.

Responsibilities

• Manage, execute, and enhance claims handling processes and service.
• Lead customer support operations and customer-facing communications (Dutch, German and English).
• Coordinate risk management programs and reporting for carriers, ensuring compliance.
• Be the insurance expert in product development - ensuring propositions are executable, compliant, and scalable.
• Build and maintain relationships with carriers, brokers, and third parties, including onboarding and business reviews.
• Support underwriting and product servicing, review policies/terms/documents, and keep abreast of market developments.
• Continuously improve quality, compliance, product, and distribution strategies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with insurance, actuarial, tech, and business teams.
• Help develop operational playbooks and workflows for new embedded insurance products.
