As Software Developer Bioinformatics at GenDx, you contribute to our software solutions for transplantation diagnostics. You will participate in the development and maintenance of our HLA typing, chimerism monitoring, and oncology genomic assay tools, while also contributing to the development of software products that support advanced molecular diagnostics.
You enjoy translating biological and clinical needs into robust software solutions and are comfortable working in a multidisciplinary environment. You are enthusiastic, creative, accurate, and proactive in your communication. You see challenges rather than problems and resolve complex issues using different approaches.
You add value to the R&D Software team and collaborate closely with colleagues working on our diagnostic software portfolio.
To be successful in this role, you bring at least 3 years of professional software development experience, excluding academic projects and short-term internships, gained in a commercial, scientific, medical, or similarly structured environment. You’re comfortable working independently, taking ownership of your work, and contributing to a collaborative development team.
