Job summary

Sioux Group in the Netherlands seeks an experienced Software Designer to create robust software for high‑tech products in semiconductor, analytical instrumentation, and medical equipment sectors.

You translate requirements, bridge architects and engineers, and lead a module through the full SDLC while mentoring junior teammates. Proficiency in C#, C++, or Java and knowledge of Design Patterns/UML/Agile are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years of technical software development experience.
• 4–5 years in Semicon, Medical, or Analytical domains.
• Proficiency in C#, C++, or Java.
• Knowledge of Design Patterns, UML, and Agile.
• Ability to coach junior engineers; fluent in Dutch and English; EU driver's license and travel willingness.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer and system requirements into robust software designs.
• Bridge between architects and engineers from a technical perspective.
• Own a module/subsystem through the full software development lifecycle.
• Ensure software quality, scalability and maintainability.
• Guide and mentor a team of engineers to deliver high-quality results.
