Job summary

Sioux Technologies in the Netherlands is seeking a Software Designer with C#/C++/Java expertise to develop software for high-tech products and machines. You will translate requirements into robust designs and guide the development team.

From Apeldoorn or client sites, you will collaborate with architects and engineers across domains such as Semicon, Medical, and Analytical, coaching juniors and delivering high-quality, scalable software.

Qualifications

• Technical Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/Software Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in technical software development across diverse projects.
• Experience in Semicon, Medical, or Analytical domains in the last 4–5 years.
• Proficient in C#, C++, or Java with knowledge of Design Patterns and UML.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer and system requirements into robust software designs.
• Guide a development team and coach junior engineers.
• Ensure software quality, scalability, and maintainability throughout the lifecycle.
• Act as a bridge between architects and engineers from a technical perspective.
