Job summary

Sioux Technologies is seeking a Software Designer with expertise in C#, C++, and Java to develop software for high-tech products and machines. You will contribute across semiconductor, analytical instrumentation, and medical equipment domains from Apeldoorn and client sites, guiding a team and bridging architects and engineers.

You will own modules end-to-end, coach junior engineers, and apply patterns, UML, and Agile methods while staying current with technology.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in technical software development.
• Experience in Semicon, Medical, or Analytical domains in last 4–5 years.
• Proficiency in at least two of C#, C++, or Java.
• Knowledge of Design Patterns, UML, and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to coach junior engineers.
• Team player with goal-oriented mindset.
• Fluent in Dutch and English (speaking and writing).
• Holds a valid European driver’s license and willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Own a module or subsystem through the full software development lifecycle.
• Coach and guide a team of (senior) engineers.
• Bridge between architects and engineers from a technical perspective.
• Translate requirements into innovative and realistic concepts during the concept phase.
