Job summary

JobCubby is partnering with a leading automotive tech partner in the Netherlands to recruit a Solutions Architect. This role blends presales, architectural design, and hands-on demonstrations for software-defined vehicles using Linux, embedded systems, and cloud technologies.

You will collaborate with specialists across cloud, Kubernetes, security, safety, and embedded domains to craft comprehensive automotive solutions and proofs-of-concept for key customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent.
• Experience in automotive industry is required.
• Strong Linux/embedded Linux background with Yocto exposure.

Responsibilities

• Engage with automotive customers during presales to understand requirements and explain solutions.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor for open-source platforms in automotive use cases.
• Collaborate with cloud, Kubernetes, security, safety, and embedded experts to design solutions.
• Contribute to demonstrations, proofs-of-concept, and embedded Linux projects.
• Translate market needs into actionable insights for engineering and product teams.
• Develop reusable technical solutions addressing automotive market opportunities.
• Support software-defined vehicles and cloud-embedded environments.
• Communicate complex concepts to technical and business audiences.
