Job summary

MR MARVIS, an Amsterdam-based menswear brand, is seeking a Social Media & Community Specialist to join our Brand Team at the Amsterdam headquarters. You will collaborate with the Creative Content Manager to translate our social strategy into engaging content, from asset creation to fostering conversations.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in fashion social media, strong design and copy skills in English, and a passion for trends.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience managing social media channels in fashion or lifestyle.
• Strong graphic design capabilities with Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
• Sharp photo, video, and editing skills with a trend-led portfolio.
• Exceptional English copywriting for captions, stories, and community interactions.
• Deep understanding of current social platforms, formats, algorithms, and localization.
• Proactive, collaborative, organized, with MR MARVIS aesthetics.

Responsibilities

• Content Creation: Craft visual assets (graphics, static posts, carousels, videos) and write witty English copy across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube.
• Community Management: Build and nurture an active, engaged online community through consistent interaction and conversations.
• Campaign & Concept Development: Pitch fresh ideas and create concepts aligned with brand strategy and product launches.
• Channel Management: Plan, schedule, post, and track content performance across channels with a consistent content calendar.
• Trend Spotting: Stay on top of social and cultural trends and adapt to MR MARVIS tone and style.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Design, Copy, Creative Production, and Growth Marketing.
• Data-Driven Optimization: Analyze performance metrics and use insights to improve content and engagement.

We are looking for a Social Media & Community Specialist who lives and breathes social media, creativity, trends, and community. In this role, you will join the Brand Team at our Amsterdam headquarters and work alongside our Creative Content Manager to bring our social strategy to life.

From creating assets and writing witty copy to fostering genuine conversations, you will be the creative spark that keeps our brand fresh, relevant, and exciting. We want someone who combines a sharp visual eye with strategic thinking, translating our brand values into content people love to share.

What you'll do

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Design, Copy, Creative Production, and Growth Marketing to ensure social content supports wider business goals.

• Data-Driven Optimization: Analyze performance metrics and use those insights to continuously improve content and engagement.
  

What you'll bring

• Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience managing social media channels, preferably within the fashion or lifestyle industry (a major plus).

• Design Skills: Strong graphic design capabilities with tools like Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.

• Content Production: Sharp photo, video, and editing skills, backed by a portfolio that showcases your ability to create trend-led content.

• Copywriting: Exceptional English copywriting skills for captions, stories, and community interactions.

• Platform Knowledge: Deep understanding of current social platforms, formats, algorithms, and localization.

• Soft Skills: A proactive mindset, collaborative energy, strong organizational skills, and a natural feel for the MR MARVIS aesthetic.

• Language: Fluency in English.
