Job summary

NH Hotels & Resorts in Amsterdam is seeking a Cook to plan, prepare and cook buffets and à la carte dishes, and to advise guests at the buffet and in the restaurant. You will manage daily activities, order ingredients and stock, and ensure health and safety standards are met.

You thrive in a fast-paced hotel kitchen, have experience in a restaurant or hotel setting, and communicate in English (Dutch language is a plus).

Qualifications

• Experience in a restaurant or hotel environment.
• Good command of English; Dutch is an advantage.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and cook buffets and à la carte dishes.
• Advise guests at buffet and in the à la carte service.
• Plan daily activities and order ingredients and stock replenishments.
• Follow health and safety regulations and maintain a clean workstation.
