Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Site Supply Chain Planner to own the short-term production schedule, balance capacity and material availability, and coordinate with Production, QA and Warehouse to safeguard market supply. You will drive daily planning discussions and support launches in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The role emphasizes hands-on scheduling, data-driven decision making and continuous improvement, with a focus on connecting plan to execution in an international GMP environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
• Experience in production planning, detailed scheduling, supply planning or similar.
• Hands-on experience with SAP or another ERP/planning system.
• Strong analytical skills with planning and operational data.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and structure.
• Strong communication across functions.
• Fluency in Dutch and English (spoken and written).
• Experience in a complex, international, GMP/regulatory environment.
• Capacity planning and inventory management.
• Advanced Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Smartsheet or similar tools.
• Lean, Six Sigma, RCA, FMEA or other CI methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the short-term detailed production schedule for assigned lines.
• Manage the frozen/firm planning window and ensure orders are ready for execution.
• Assess capacity and identify constraints before impact on supply.
• Check materials availability and coordinate actions for shortages.
• Collaborate with Production, QA, Warehouse, and regional teams to align priorities.
• React to deviations and translate into planning actions.
• Lead daily SQDIP discussions and weekly capacity meetings.
• Support product launches with planning expertise.
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement in planning.
