Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Site Supply Chain Planner to own the short-term detailed production schedule across assigned lines. You will balance capacity, materials, and priorities, coordinating with Production, QA, Warehouse and regional teams to ensure feasible, executable plans.

You will drive continuous improvement in planning processes, leverage SAP and analytical tools, and support product launches while ensuring timely supply to markets in a GMP environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
• Experience in production planning, detailed scheduling, supply planning or similar operational roles.
• Hands-on experience with SAP or another ERP/planning system.
• Strong analytical skills with planning and operational data.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and structure.
• Strong communication across functions.
• Fluency in Dutch and English.
• Experience in GMP/regulatory environments.
• Capacity planning and inventory management.
• Advanced Excel, Power BI, Tableau or similar tools.
• Lean, Six Sigma, RCA, FMEA or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Process automation or digitalization of supply chain activities.
• Interest in AI-assisted planning improvements.
• Project management or product launch support.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the short-term detailed production schedule.
• Build, maintain and optimize production schedules for assigned lines.
• Manage frozen/firm planning window and ready production orders.
• Assess short- and mid-term capacity and identify constraints.
• Coordinate material availability and actions during shortages.
• Align priorities with Production, QA, Warehouse and regional teams.
• React to deviations and translate into planning actions.
• Lead daily SQDIP discussions and weekly capacity meetings.
• Support product launches and planning initiatives.
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement in planning.
