Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Rotterdam is seeking a senior Site Manager to lead field activities across Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. You will guide site managers and crews, coordinating with project management, engineering, customers, and subcontractors to deliver substations and power infrastructure safely and on schedule.

The role emphasizes operational excellence, shaping on-site plans, and building strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience in site management or project execution in energy/industrial sectors.
• Understanding of substations, transmission systems, and electrical/mechanical installations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills in Dutch and English.
• Willingness to travel regularly within Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg.

Responsibilities

• Lead site management activities across Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg.
• Guide site teams to deliver projects on time and to quality standards.
• Plan resources, equipment, and skills for project execution.
• Drive safe work practices and support a strong HSE culture.
