Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Site Manager to lead on-site activities across projects, ensuring cost-effective execution, quality, schedule and safety compliance during start-up, construction, commissioning and maintenance phases.

The role can be based anywhere in the Benelux; for large distances, hotel accommodation is provided by Hitachi Energy. Strong coordination with Project Manager and subcontractors is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in electrical engineering or similar by experience.
• Proficiency in Dutch and English.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to lead a team.
• Valid driving license category B.

Responsibilities

• Plan on-site activities with Project Manager including resources, equipment and milestones.
• Coordinate customer and external resources on construction targets and safety requirements.
• Ensure compliance with Building Law and site documentation.
• Direct supervision of work per contract and technical documentation.
• Control project costs and monitor spend against forecasts.
• Coordinate subcontractors and acceptance of construction works.
• Manage on-site storage and logistics for timely delivery of equipment.
