Job summary

Malvern Panalytical in Eindhoven is seeking a Site Lean Leader to embed Lean Business Principles (SBS) at our X-ray tube production site. You will translate standards into improvements, lead live operational issues, and build ownership for sustained SBS impact.

Day-to-day you’ll partner with the Director of Operations and R&D, reporting to the Global SBS Director. You’ll strengthen performance, capability and continuous improvement culture across the site.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years in Lean deployment, operational excellence, or business transformation.
• Experience applying Lean principles in low-volume, precision manufacturing or engineered-product environments.
• Proven track record facilitating Kaizen, coaching leaders, and delivering measurable improvement.
• Experience with management operating systems, daily management, and structured problem solving.
• Strong project management—scoping, planning, resourcing, and delivering multiple improvements to time and benefits.
• Hands-on experience in an operational or production environment, close to the work.
• Lean certification preferred; advanced certification may be required within an agreed timeframe.
• Fluency in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead Site Transformation & Deliver Results: drive transformation agenda and link to Quality, Delivery, Cost and People objectives.
• Lead on the floor: support shop floor teams with daily management, escalation, and follow-up.
• Build capability: deliver SBS training and coach site leaders and Kaizen leads.
• Lead deployment: own the site deployment roadmap and progression through maturity levels.
