Job summary

SRG is seeking an experienced Site Engineering Manager in the Netherlands to lead engineering, facilities, maintenance, and capital projects within a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

The role requires significant pharma manufacturing experience, strong leadership across engineering disciplines, and a track record of delivering process improvements. Collaboration with Production, Quality, and Technical teams is essential to drive site performance.

Qualifications

• Significant experience within pharmaceutical manufacturing (essential).
• Proven leadership across engineering, maintenance, facilities and capital projects.
• Experience delivering engineering and process improvements.
• Budget, equipment installation and site project management experience.
• Knowledge of Lean, TPM, Continuous Improvement, and QMS principles.

• Lead site engineering, facilities, and maintenance teams.
• Drive equipment reliability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage CAPEX projects from planning through installation and commissioning.
• Support new product introductions (NPI) and new manufacturing technologies.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and best-in-class engineering practices.
• Ensure engineering activities support Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost objectives.
• Develop and coach engineering teams while building future capability.
• Partner closely with Production, Quality, and Technical teams to improve site performance.

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineering Manager to lead engineering, facilities, maintenance, and capital project activities within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

This is a key leadership role for a senior engineering professional who has progressed from an engineering background into management and brings strong expertise across maintenance, manufacturing operations, facilities, and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead site engineering, facilities, and maintenance teams.
• Drive equipment reliability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage CAPEX projects from planning through installation and commissioning.
• Support new product introductions (NPI) and new manufacturing technologies.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and best-in-class engineering practices.
• Ensure engineering activities support Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost objectives.
• Develop and coach engineering teams while building future capability.
• Partner closely with Production, Quality, and Technical teams to improve site performance.

What We're Looking For

• Significant experience within pharmaceutical manufacturing (essential).
• Strong leadership experience across engineering, maintenance, facilities, and capital projects.
• Proven track record of delivering engineering and process improvements.
• Experience managing budgets, equipment installations, and site projects.
• Knowledge of Lean, TPM, Continuous Improvement, and QMS principles.
• Comfortable working in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
• Conversational Dutch is essential.
• Must have the Permanent right to work in the Netherlands.

Nice to Have

• Sterile manufacturing experience.
