Job summary

Organik Kimya Netherlands BV is seeking a Head of Engineering & Projects to lead the technical development of our plant and strengthen engineering and project capabilities. You will oversee the plant design, investment projects, third party partnerships, and more.

In this leadership role, you will build a multidisciplinary team, establish the departmental structure, and provide technical leadership in process design and project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering and related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering and project management within chemical/process/manufacturing sectors.
• Proven track record leading engineering and project teams and managing budgets.
• Strong knowledge of plant design, process engineering and risk management.
• Fluency in English and Dutch is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage and control departmental and project budgets.
• Prepare and execute annual and long-term engineering, investment and resource plans based on plant and company requirements.

• Proven experience in leading engineering and project teams.
• Strong knowledge of plant design and process engineering.
• Demonstrated experience in managing projects from conceptual design through commissioning and start-up.
• Experience in budgeting, cost control and resource planning.
• Experience in managing engineering contractors, consultants, vendors and other project partners.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and risk-management capabilities.
• Fluency in English & Dutch
