Job summary

Multi.engineering is seeking a Work Preparator & Project Engineer in Vlissingen, the Netherlands, for a 6-month freelance/project contract. You will join a multidisciplinary team on-site to analyse orders, assess feasibility, and prepare technical specifications and CAD drawings for steel structures and systems.

You will develop plans, lifting strategies, and risk assessments, while evaluating supplier quotations and monitoring orders.

Qualifications

MBO level 4 or HBO in Naval Architecture/MAROF, Mechanical Engineering, or similar.

Responsibilities

Analyse work orders and determine which activities need to be carried out.
Assess the technical feasibility and manufacturability of the required work.
Prepare technical specifications for steel structures, components, equipment and systems.
Develop technical plans and create conceptual designs and CAD drawings.
Prepare lifting plans and risk assessments for heavy lifting and transport operations.
Technically evaluate supplier quotations and monitor orders and deliveries.
Inspect work on-site and provide technical solutions to questions from clients, colleagues and subcontractors.
Collaborate daily with procurement, QC, project management, production and purchasing to monitor progress.
