Job summary

Restart BV is seeking two Production Work Planners for steel construction in offshore wind and oil & gas. You’ll translate engineering docs into practical production plans and support all prep work through to completion.

Junior and senior candidates are welcome. Key tasks include MTOs, coordinating drawings, and ensuring quality with the workshop team. Excellent Dutch/English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Completed technical education at MBO or HBO level in a relevant field.
• Interest in steel construction, offshore fabrication or heavy construction.
• Knowledge of fabrication processes, drawings and materials or eagerness to learn.
• Structured, proactive, solution-oriented approach.
• Good communication in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Translate engineering documentation into a practical, manufacturable production approach.
• Prepare Material Take Offs (MTOs) and support material procurement.
• Coordinate workshop drawings and prepare as-built documentation.
• Prepare work instructions and technical documentation.
• Coordinate construction methods, schedules, layouts and scaffolding with Production.
• Prepare and coordinate lifting, turning and transport plans.
• Monitor progress, budgets, deviations and scope changes.
• Discuss technical queries with clients and suppliers.
• Coordinate and supervise outsourced work and subcontractors.
• Work with Quality Control to ensure compliance with specs.
• Support and guide junior planners, interns and temps when needed.
