Job summary

Vivid Resourcing Ltd is seeking a Project Support Engineer / Technical CAD Engineer for maritime installations in Rotterdam. The role combines CAD work with engineering and project support across multiple projects, including international work in Germany.

You will ensure technicians have accurate drawings, documentation and materials to complete installations efficiently. The position is full-time, based on-site in the Netherlands, with exposure to navigation and communication systems for

Qualifications

• Proven experience using AutoCAD.
• Technical background in engineering, CAD or related discipline.
• Experience creating or modifying technical drawings and block diagrams.
• Experience preparing and maintaining cable lists.
• Comfortable with technical documentation and equipment information.
• Strong organisational skills for managing multiple projects.
• Good communication with technicians, engineers and project stakeholders.
• Affinity with logistics, procurement and installation preparation.
• Maritime industry experience is advantageous.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify and update technical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Produce and maintain block diagrams for navigation and communication systems.
• Prepare and maintain cable lists for devices and sensors.
• Update as-built drawings reflecting installation changes.
• Provide engineering and project support throughout project lifecycle.
• Manage project documentation within the DMS, including certificates and manuals.
• Identify equipment and materials to support procurement and logistics.
• Coordinate technical information and deliveries for installations.
• Support planning of multiple projects simultaneously.
• Improve project structure, preparation and organisation.
• Collaborate with technicians and engineers to resolve technical and documentation needs.
