Job summary

Applegreen is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead the on-site team, ensuring friendly service, managing opening and closing procedures, and handling POS transactions with accuracy.

Ideal candidates will have cash handling and customer service experience along with leadership abilities. The role requires standing/walking for extended periods and flexibility to cover days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service by engaging in positive, helpful interactions with customers and resolve customer complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with company policies/procedures.
• Operate POS system, process payments, and follow cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling procedures including wrapping, labelling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and checking temperatures.
• Perform kitchen-related tasks including prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Actively cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of products and services available in the plaza.
• Assist in training of new team members.
• Follow brand standards and safety requirements.
• Report observations or problems to plaza leadership.
