Job summary

HQ Pack in Veldhoven is seeking a Shift Leader Production to oversee daily operations within the production environment. You will lead, coach, and develop a team of 10–20 employees to ensure efficient and high-quality production processes.

Job Description

As a Shift Leader Production, you play a key role in the daily operation of our production environment. You are responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a team of 10–20 employees, ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality production. You maintain optimal staff planning, support continuous improvement, and embody HQ Pack’s values in everything you do.

Responsibilities

• Leading, coaching, and developing your team to ensure clear instruction, strong performance, and continuous growth.
• Monitoring and steering production output, quality, and safety, taking action when standards or processes deviate.
• Driving a positive culture and compliance, ensuring desired behaviour, teamwork, and adherence to company rules and 5S/Operational Excellence.
• Coordinating daily operations through shift handovers, team meetings, planning, and close cooperation with fellow Shift Leaders, Team Leaders, and internal departments.
• Managing personnel and processes, including staffing, onboarding, evaluations, administrative tasks, improvement initiatives, and resolving disruptions.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of leadership experience in a production environment
• Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English
• Experience with Lean and 5S
• BHV certificate is a plus
• Willingness to work in a two‑shift system
• Able to work safely and compliant with all company regulations

Your Team

You will lead a dynamic team of production employees, working closely with other Shift Leaders and reporting directly to the Team Leader. You ensure that your team performs at its best by creating a safe, structured, and motivating working environment. Together, you contribute to smooth production processes and continuous improvement across the department.
