Job summary

JDE Peet’s is offering a Safety, Health & Environment Management System Intern position at their Utrecht headquarters. The role starts in September 2026 and supports the Global SHE team with governance, documentation, and improvement initiatives across regions.

The ideal candidate is studying or recently graduated in a relevant field, with strong English communication, familiarity with Office tools, SharePoint, and Power BI, and a proactive, hands-on mindset.

Qualifications

Currently studying or recently graduated in Safety, Health & Environment, Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong interest in Safety, Health and Environment, management systems, governance and continuous improvement.
Good organisational skills with the ability to structure information, follow up actions and meet deadlines.
Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

Support the implementation and follow-up of the Global SHE Management System requirements.
Assist in maintaining and improving SHE documentation, trackers, templates, guidance materials and implementation tools.
Support the preparation of SHE Management System reviews, SHE Auditing, meetings, presentations and status updates.
Help collect, organise and analyse information from regions and sites to monitor progress, gaps and improvement opportunities.
Support communication and coordination with Regional and Local SHE teams to ensure alignment and timely execution of agreed actions.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to make SHE processes simpler, clearer and more effective.
