Job summary

JDE Peet’s invites applications for a Safety, Health & Environment Management System Intern at our Utrecht HQ, starting January/February 2027. You will assist the Global SHE team with the implementation, coordination and improvement of the SHE Management System across the organisation.

You’ll work with regional teams on governance, document control and performance tracking, gaining hands-on experience in a global manufacturing setting while contributing to streamlined SHE processes.

Qualifications

• Currently studying or recently graduated in Safety, Health & Environment, Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong interest in Safety, Health and Environment, governance and continuous improvement.
• Good organisational skills, with the ability to structure information, follow up actions and deadlines.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and follow-up of the Global SHE Management System requirements.
• Assist in maintaining and improving SHE documentation, trackers, templates, guidance materials and tools.
• Support the preparation of SHE Management System reviews, audits, meetings and status updates.
• Help collect and analyse information from regions/sites to monitor progress, gaps and improvements.
• Support communication and coordination with Regional and Local SHE teams to ensure alignment and timely actions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to simplify and clarify SHE processes.
