Job summary

Arvato in Heijen (Gennep) is looking for a Servicedesk Employee to support colleagues across departments, handling IT questions, incidents, and basic hardware/software setup. You will join an IT team in an international logistics environment.

You will work in Heijen with occasional visits to other locations in the Netherlands, with a gross monthly salary between €2,607 and €4,164 and a path to permanent contract. A laptop, phone, travel allowance, and development opportunities are included.

Qualifications

• Must have MBO-level IT education.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for IT-related questions and incidents.
• Register and handle requests, resolving ~70% of inquiries and escalating unresolved cases.
• Provide on-site support by visiting different departments.

Job Description

YOUR TASKS

As a Servicedesk Employee, you are the first point of contact for internal and external users with IT-related questions and issues. You help colleagues find solutions, handle common requests and ensure that more complex issues are referred to the right department or supplier. By working closely with users and IT colleagues, you contribute to reliable IT support across our operations.

Your responsibilities include:

• Acting as the first point of contact for IT-related questions and incidents;
• Registering and handling requests, resolving approximately 70% of regular IT inquiries and escalating unresolved cases to the appropriate department or supplier;
• Providing on-site support by regularly visiting different departments;
• Setting up and installing end-user hardware and software;
• Performing minor standard changes and service requests;
• Providing remote support and assisting with Microsoft network support;
• Monitoring the progress of requests and ensuring colleagues receive accessible, friendly and effective support;
• Building your knowledge of IT systems, processes and support activities through daily practice and collaboration with colleagues.

You will be based in Heijen (Gennep), with occasional visits to our other locations in the Netherlands.

YOUR PROFILE

You are curious about IT, enjoy solving technical problems and get satisfaction from helping others. You are eager to learn, work accurately and take a proactive approach to supporting end users. You can work independently while also knowing how to collaborate with colleagues when a problem requires additional expertise.

In addition, you bring:

• A completed MBO-level education in IT;
• Knowledge of Windows and the Microsoft Office suite;
• Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory;
• Experience with remote support and Microsoft network support;
• A service-oriented attitude and good communication skills;
• The ability to work accurately and manage IT requests in a structured way;
• A willingness to learn and further develop your technical knowledge;
• English isrequired, Dutch an advantage.

Microsoft certifications are an advantage. Knowledge of TOPdesk is a plus.
