Job summary

The Weert site of Syntegon Packaging Solutions B. V. in the Netherlands is seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician. You will perform installation, maintenance and repair on specialised equipment at customer sites and at our Weert facility, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

You will travel to customer locations, troubleshoot, document activities, and collaborate with internal teams to drive improvements while adhering to safety standards and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• Completed MBO level 4 qualification (or equivalent) in mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience in field service, equipment maintenance, or technical support roles.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills with ability to analyse complex technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair work on specialised equipment at customer sites and our Weert facility.
• Conduct thorough troubleshooting and diagnostic analyses to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Assist with final assembly, testing, and commissioning of customer-specific machines and systems.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers, ensuring they understand equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
• Document all service activities, repairs, and maintenance work with precision and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with internal teams to communicate customer feedback and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory compliance standards during on-site service activities.
• Travel to customer locations as required, remaining flexible and resilient in a dynamic working environment.
• Analyse equipment performance data and provide recommendations for optimisation.
• Provide support with induction and training of new team members as required.
