Job summary

Collé Rental & Sales is seeking an enthusiastic Service Mechanic/Outdoor Maintenance Mechanic in Rotterdam. You will join the field service team, carrying out repairs, maintenance, and inspections of construction machines to ensure their maximum availability.

The position offers a market-based salary, 40-hour workweek with additional time-off options, discounts via an Employee Benefit Programme, and up to 44 leave days. Ideal candidates have a technical background and service-oriented skills.

Qualifications

• Technical education and/or work experience in mobile machinery or mechatronics.
• Knowledge and experience of diesel, electrical, and hydraulics.
• Several years of work experience as a service mechanic is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and solve malfunctions using electronic and hydraulic diagrams.
• Perform maintenance, repairs, and safety inspections on site.

Job description

Position

For Rotterdam, we are immediately looking for an enthusiastic candidate for the position of Service Mechanic/Outdoor Maintenance Mechanic.

You will be part of our field service team. You will drive in a fully equipped Sprinter to Collé customers. On location, you will independently carry out repairs, maintenance and periodic safety inspections of construction and earth-moving machines. In doing so, you will contribute to maximum availability of the machines.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Looking for, analysing and solving malfunctions using electronic and hydraulic diagrams;
• Performing maintenance, repairs and safety inspections on site;
• Keeping workplace and environment clean and tidy;
• Communicating with customers on site.

Your Profile

• MBO working and thinking level, obtained through a technical education and/or work experience preferably in mobile machinery or mechatronics;
• Other technical training and interest in our machines;
• Several years of work experience as a service mechanic / field service mechanic is a plus;
• Knowledge and experience of diesel, electrical and hydraulics;
• Problem-solving, analytical ability, service-oriented, representative, flexible, independent, team player, stress-resistant, sense of responsibility, no 9-5 mentality;
• Living in the Breda / Dordrecht region.
