Job summary

Collé Rental & Sales in the Netherlands is searching for an enthusiastic Field Service Mechanic to join their team. You will perform maintenance and repairs on construction and earth-moving machines at client locations while ensuring optimal machine availability.

Qualifications

• MBO working and thinking level, preferably in mobile machinery or mechatronics.
• Several years of experience as a service mechanic / field service mechanic is a plus.
• Knowledge and experience of diesel, electrical and hydraulics.

Job description

For the Nijmegen/Arnhem region, we are immediately looking for an enthusiastic candidate for the position of Field Service Mechanic/Maintenance Mechanic.

The position

You will be part of our field service team. You will drive in a fully equipped Sprinter to Collé customers. On location, you will independently carry out repairs, maintenance and periodic (safety) inspections of construction and earth‑moving machines. In doing so, you will contribute to maximum availability of the machines.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Looking for, analysing and solving malfunctions using electronic and hydraulic diagrams;
• Performing maintenance, repairs and safety inspections on site;
• Keeping workplace and environment clean and tidy;
• Communicating with customers on site.

Your profile

• MBO working and thinking level, obtained through a technical education and/or work experience preferably in mobile machinery or mechatronics;
• Other technical training and interest in our machines;
• Several years of work experience as a service mechanic / field service mechanic is a plus;
• Knowledge and experience of diesel, electrical and hydraulics;
• Problem‑solving, analytical ability, service‑oriented, representative, flexible, independent, team player, stress‑resistant, sense of responsibility, no 9-5 mentality;
• Living in the Nijmegen/ Arnhem region.
