Job summary

Collé Rental & Sales is looking for an enthusiastic Field Service Mechanic in the Rotterdam area. You will join our field service team, conducting repairs and maintenance on construction and earth-moving machines at customer locations.

Qualifications

• Technical education or work experience preferably in mobile machinery or mechatronics.
• Several years of work experience as a service mechanic is a plus.
• Knowledge and experience of diesel, electrical and hydraulics.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and solve malfunctions using electronic and hydraulic diagrams.
• Perform maintenance, repairs and safety inspections on site.
• Communicate with customers on site.

Job description

For the Amsterdam region, we are immediately looking for an enthusiastic candidate for the position of Field Service Mechanic / Maintenance Mechanic. You will be part of our field service team. You will drive in a fully equipped Sprinter to Collé customers. On location, you will independently carry out repairs, maintenance and periodic (safety) inspections of construction and earth‑moving machines. This way, you contribute to maximum availability of the machines.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Looking for, analysing and solving malfunctions using electronic and hydraulic diagrams;
• Performing maintenance, repairs and safety inspections on site;
• Keeping workplace and environment clean and tidy;
• Communicating with customers on site;

Your profile

• MBO working and thinking level, obtained through a technical education and/or work experience preferably in mobile machinery or mechatronics;
• Other technical training and interest in our machines; Several years of work experience as a service mechanic / field service mechanic is a plus;
• Knowledge and experience of diesel, electrical and hydraulics;
• Problem‑solving, analytical ability, service‑oriented, representative, flexible, independent, team player, stress‑resistant, sense of responsibility, no 9‑5 mentality;
• Living in the Amsterdam region.
