Job summary

Collé Rental & Sales in Rotterdam is seeking an enthusiastic Service Mechanic/Outdoor Maintenance Mechanic. In this role, you will join our field service team, performing repairs and maintenance on construction and earth-moving machines to ensure their optimal availability.

Qualifications

• MBO working and thinking level, preferably in mobile machinery or mechatronics.
• Several years of work experience as a service mechanic is a plus.
• Interest in and knowledge of our machines.

Job description

For Rotterdam, we are immediately looking for an enthusiastic candidate for the position of Service Mechanic/Outdoor Maintenance Mechanic.

The position

You will be part of our field service team. You will drive in a fully equipped Sprinter to Collé customers. On location, you will independently carry out repairs, maintenance and periodic (safety) inspections of construction and earth‑moving machines. In doing so, you will contribute to maximum availability of the machines.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Looking for, analysing and solving malfunctions using electronic and hydraulic diagrams
• Performing maintenance, repairs and safety inspections on site
• Keeping workplace and environment clean and tidy
• Communicating with customers on site

Your profile

• MBO working and thinking level, obtained through a technical education and/or work experience preferably in mobile machinery or mechatronics
• Other technical training and interest in our machines
• Several years of work experience as a service mechanic / field service mechanic is a plus
• Knowledge and experience of diesel, electrical and hydraulics
• Problem-solving, analytical ability, service-oriented, representative, flexible, independent, team player, stress-resistant, sense of responsibility, no 9-5 mentality
• Living in the Breda / Dordrecht region
