Job summary

Picnic is seeking an SEO Specialist in Amsterdam who is passionate about optimizing websites for search performance and tackling technical SEO challenges. You will work with an international team to grow Picnic's website as a core customer acquisition channel.

You will launch strategies, conduct keyword research, optimize content, collaborate with developers and designers, monitor performance with SEO tools, and report on progress; fluency in English is required, Dutch/German/French a plus.

Qualifications

• MSc degree in a relevant field.
• Up to 2 years SEO experience in an international environment.
• Strong technical SEO knowledge (site architecture, crawl management, structured data, mobile-first indexing).
• Hands-on with SEO tools: Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Screaming Frog.
• Familiar with Content Management Systems and making technical changes on websites.
• Fluency in English; Dutch/German/French language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Launch SEO strategies to grow organic traffic and rankings.
• Conduct in-depth keyword research for opportunities and intent.
• Optimize technical SEO including site architecture, crawlability and page speed.
• Collaborate with developers, UX/UI designers and content teams on changes.
• Monitor performance with SEO tools and provide regular reports.
