Job summary

JDE Peet’s invites you to join as R&D Sensory & Consumer Science Intern at our international headquarters in Utrecht, starting September 2026. You will support the Sensory & Consumer Science Team and assist with designing studies using statistical techniques for data interpretation.

The internship runs five months, with 4 days in the office and one day remote, and offers a €525 monthly allowance, travel compensation if no public transit card, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a BSc or MSc program for the entirety of the internship, preferably in Food Science or Technology with a background in Sensory/consumer Science.
• Strong MS Office skills and fluent English (spoken and written).
• Structured, proactive, and able to work in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Work on a personal project within the first month.
• Assist with set-up and briefing of researches.
• Analyze sensory and/or consumer studies using statistical tools.
• Report and present the results.
