Job summary

DG Solar Company is seeking a Senior Vice President to lead capital markets, financing strategies and investment underwriting for community solar, distributed generation and energy storage assets. Reporting to the CFO, you will build strategies, manage relationships with lenders and investors, and drive value through disciplined capital allocation and risk-aware decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Engineering or a related field.
• MBA, CFA, CPA or another relevant advanced degree or credential preferred.
• At least 15 years of progressive experience in capital markets, project finance, structured finance, infrastructure investing, investment banking, renewable energy finance, private equity, corporate finance or a related field.
• Significant experience raising and structuring capital for solar, community solar, energy storage, independent power or comparable assets.
• Direct experience with forms of capital such as project debt, corporate debt, tax equity, private credit, joint ventures and growth equity.
• Proven ability to lead FP&A, investment, financial analysis or transaction teams.
• Experience presenting investment or financing recommendations to Investment Committees, Boards, lenders or investors.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital markets strategy and capital formation with the executive team.
• Lead capital raising across project, portfolio, asset and corporate financing structures.
• Evaluate and propose financing options: debt, tax equity, preferred equity, and more.
• Run financing processes end to end: market engagement, term sheets, diligence, closing and post-closing.
• Oversee financial modelling, underwriting standards and investment analysis.
• Coordinate with Legal, Tax and Accounting on documentation and compliance.
• Partner with Development, Project Finance, Asset Management and Operations to align capital strategy with portfolio goals.
• Present to Investment Committee and manage governance of underwriting.
