Senior Project Manager – Solar & BESS (International)

With over a decade of experience, they specialize in developing, building, and maintaining large-scale solar farms and integrated energy solutions, including battery storage (BESS), EV charging infrastructure, and energy management systems. Active in the Benelux, France, Germany, and Scandinavia, we’re expanding rapidly and looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead international projects that drive real impact.

Your Impact

As Senior Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for the full lifecycle of complex solar and BESS projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest technical and safety standards. You’ll be the central point of coordination between clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary solar and BESS projects up to €25 million.
• Manage site managers and project teams across multiple countries.
• Ensure compliance with contracts, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Oversee procurement, planning, and execution phases.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and consultants.
• Monitor progress, budgets, and technical performance.
• Travel internationally twice a month to supervise and adjust project execution.
• Drive continuous improvement in project delivery and operational efficiency.

Your Profile

You’re a strategic and hands‑on leader with a passion for renewable energy and a track record of delivering complex technical projects internationally.

Requirements

• HBO or university degree in electrical engineering, physics, or mechanical engineering.
• 5+ years of experience managing large-scale technical projects; BESS experience is a plus.
• Proven international project experience.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.
• Category B driving license.
